Thousands say goodbye to summer at Hull's Endless Summer Festival

HULL – Nantasket Avenue was busy with thousands of locals reluctant to say goodbye to summer Saturday afternoon at Hull’s 13th annual Endless Summer Waterfront Festival.

Instead of welcoming fall with open arms, people strolled down a closed off section of the street to enjoy live music, food, and kid-friendly attractions, like a bounce house and a Roaming Railroad train ride. The event is free and hosted by the Hull Nantasket Chamber of Commerce. The pizza eating competition had attracted a large crowd. Some gave a hula-hooping contest their best shot and others spilled onto the beach to savor the last of the season’s sunshine.

With the ocean steps away and temperatures nearing 80 degrees, it still felt like summer.
