Become a member of the Hull Nantasket Chamber of Commerce

Our Mission: It is the Mission of the Hull-Nantasket Chamber of Commerce to build an understanding and appreciation of the business community and to provide all Chamber members with consistent opportunities for growth. Further, the organization advocates for members on Municipal Affairs, and promotes Community Partnerships including cultural, civic, and social programs.

 

Joining our Chamber: Membership to our chamber is $120 per year. If you join after September we do pro-rate the cost by the month. Businesses located outside of Hull can not compete with businesses located inside of Hull that are chamber members. Your membership has to be paid in full to be a part of any of our events or programs. All memberships are subject to approval by the Board of Directors. (click to download membership application)

 

How Can We Serve You? Our chamber has built long lasting partnerships with local media groups, town officials, local and state politicians, local and neighboring business groups like the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, and the Plymouth County Development Corporation to help you and your business succeed in the town of Hull. We are currently working with town hall to reprint a guide for businesses opening in Hull with the procedures needed during your permitting process to make your time and effort work efficiently. Below you will find other programs and opportunities that are offered to our chamber members.

 

Events - The Hull Nantasket Chamber of Commerce runs several very successful events during the year. Our signature event is the Endless Summer Waterfront Festival
(see their website)which is held each September and attracts thousands of people to our town for a one day festival on the closed Nantasket Ave. Live entertainment is complimented by great food, shopping, contests and even a sand castle competition in the middle of the street. In November we have the Holiday Showcase which is held at the Nantasket Beach Resort the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This event attracts hundreds of shoppers and features most of Hull's retail businesses. In January we support the "Drowned Hog Weekend" and sponsor the Nantasket Beach Soup and Chowderfest. This is a weekend filled with great music, food and the crazy local Drowned Hogs who jump in the freezing Atlantic to raise money for our local social services non-profit Wellspring. In June we partner with the Hull Police for the Nantasket Beach Car Show which attracts over 400 cars of all classes and models. All of these events offer great exposure to your business through sponsorship and participation. Check our community calendar to the right for more information.

 

Cable Television and Radio Advertising - This year we will once again air over 1800 Comcast Spotlight television commercials on several popular networks featuring Nantasket Beach and Endless Summer. These commercials also feature 10 second tags from our chamber members at a very reasonable and affordable cost. We also work with local radio station WATD for other programs with discounted member commercials.

 

 

Website/Community Calendar- Our website (www.hullchamber.com) and our community calendar (www.hullchamber.com/calendar) gets thousands of visitors all year long. Visitors to our town and our community use our calendar to find local businesses and post their events on our community calendar. Many businesses have unique access to our calendar for posting their fund raisers, events, entertainment, sports schedules and municipal meetings. Our website has been top rated in Google for many years and we will continue to make sure we are in the forefront of the social media and internet world.
