FAQ: Residents

Q: When are parking fees collected for the DCR Nantasket Beach lots?

A: Parking fees are collected between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm seven days a week. People arriving early are expected to pay when attendants arrive at 8:00 am or risk getting a ticket. We notify the early arrivals by signage and notices we place on windshields.  As of July 1st, 2017, daily parking in the DCR lots is $15.00 per car for in-state plates, $20.00 for out-of-state plates.

Q: Can I purchase a parking pass for the summer?

A: If you have a MA registration, you can go to the DCR office at 215 Nantasket Avenue, Hull, and purchase a calendar year pass for $60.  It is good at the DCR (State) parking lots at Nantasket Beach and also at other DCR properties throughout the Commonwealth.  Seniors (62 and older) can purchase a lifetime parking pass for all MA parks including the DCR lots for $10.  NOTE:  Town of Hull municipal parking stickers are for designated lots only and do not qualify in the DCR lots.

A: Visit the Hull Police Department with proof of residency (utility bill, driver's license, etc.) and $14 fee, Monday through Saturday, from 9 am to 3 pm.
