The Leonard Hersch Memorial Band Concert Series at the Bernie King Pavilion at Nantasket Beach is a free concert series sponsored by the Town of Hull, the Hull Redevelopment Authority, the State Dept. of Conservation and Recreation, local merchants, and private donations. To make a contribution, send a check payable to the Town of Hull/Band Concerts to Town Hall, 253 Atlantic Ave., Hull, AM 02045 attn: Janet Bennett.
With the exception of the last concert of the season, which is on a Monday, all concerts are on Sunday. Here is a schedule of events for summer 2012:
July 8th - Hull homeboy Dave Foley and his band - country, rockabilly, and other genres. July 15th - The Neil Perry Band. July 22nd - The Fabulous Meltones, July 29th - The Continentals, August 5th - The Dave Foley Band, August 12th - The Neil Perry Band, August 19th - The Fabulous Meltones, August 26th - The Continentals, and finally on Monday, September 3rd - Four Guys in Tuxes.
