Hull and Nantasket Beach feature some of the best boating, sailing and fishing in the Northeast. Our close proximity to the open ocean, Boston, North Shore, and Cape Cod make Hull a great starting or ending point for your boating and fishing pleasure.
Boating: Hull offers not only two great marinas, but one of the oldest yacht clubs in the country at the Hull Yacht Club and a hunting and fishing club at the Nantasket Beach Salt Water Club. Boating around Hull can give you access to most of the Boston Harbor Island State Parks including George's Island and Spectacle Island, great fishing holes, quiet inlets like World's End and numerous rivers to relax and enjoy.
Steamboat Wharf Marina: Located in the southern end of the Weir River and the entrance by car to Hull and Nantasket Beach. They feature slips monthly, seasonally and daily. A full service repair department and winter storage. Kayak rentals are also available at Nantasket Kayak right on the pier. Rent a daily slip and you will have access to the famous Jake's Restaurant, Lobster Express fish market, the Paragon Carousel and all of the sea side restaurants and attractions within a short walking distance. Gas is not available at this location.
Sunset Bay Marina: Located just south of Hull Gut is one of Hull's best sunset spots. Featuring a full service marina with gas, repairs, storage and daily slip rental. Here you can dock up and have lunch at the Sea Dog Brew Pub or even jump off the "A" Street Pier for a swim with the locals. Boat rentals are also available by the hour, with full and half day rentals also available.
Fishing: Known as the flounder capital of the world, Hull and Quincy Bay feature great bottom fishing for flounder, as well as fishing for stripped bass, cod, mackerel, haddock, and more.... Offshore fishing can feature tuna, stripped bass, blue fish as well as shark and other sport fish. You can buy your bait at Pemberton Bait and Tackle and enjoy their restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Check out their webcam for up to the minute live views of the bay.

Surfing: While at your own risk, our beach does feature many days with great waves for surfing and body surfing. Take a ride down Hull Shore Drive which is the surfing area in Hull. Many Wednesday evenings you can see groups of surfers from all over Massachusetts coming down to enjoy a great night on the beach.
